Brief description of the main scopes:

Study of the structure, biological functions and long-term changes of aquatic, wetland and grassland ecosystems and their communities (mainly waterbirds), with particular regard to the effects of climate change, land use, water use, river management, agriculture, and other human activities. The scientific basis for activities to restore wetlands, wetlands, and habitats. His main task is to conduct and organize national and international limnological research on soda-saline waters and shallow lakes, with particular regard to the abiotic character, nutrient cycles, and trophic relationships, as well as the ecological role of animal communities (especially waterfowl).
